Working With Children Living with Disabilities
As part of our current activities, Wa-kesho works with one of the largest special schools in the world, serving 1,700 children living with different forms of disability.
The school brings together children with diverse disabilities and provides an important space for learning, care, and inclusion. Through our engagement, Wa-kesho contributes to supporting children and strengthening opportunities for a community with diverse needs.
This work complements our broader commitment to empowering vulnerable communities through practical support, skills development, and opportunities that promote greater independence and wellbeing.
Supporting Inclusion and Opportunity
Our engagement with the special school reflects Wa-kesho’s commitment to working with communities and partners to respond to their needs. By supporting children living with disabilities, we aim to contribute to an environment where every child has opportunities to learn, participate, and develop.
